#YearofMindfulness Day 103: Upend
For the second day in a row, I didn't practice mindfulness at all. I'm really struggling here: I started my mindfulness practice because I wanted to integrate calmness and relaxation into my day, but now I feel like I'm practicing mindfulness so I can blog to say "I did it!"
Area for Growth: I'm more stressed about how many times I've practiced mindfulness than about any external stressor.
Wins: I felt completely relaxed today, and easily rolled with any unexpected occurrences in my schedule. This is exactly who I wanted to be (calm and laughing in chaos)--except this was without any formal mindfulness practice!
Takeaway: I don't need a mindfulness practice in order to feel relaxed. What realization upended your goals?
