#YearofMindfulness Day 105: Bizarre
I ended the day with my tried-and-true body scan. It still reminds me of a sci-fi way to assess the status and functionality of each part of my body (i.e. "Fingertips: cold. Knees: sore." etc). I'm always surprised by how much my body aches, and how tired I am.
Area for Growth: It's bizarre to be so focused throughout the day on meeting the needs of everyone else, and crossing off items on my to-do list, that I don't realize the state of my body.
Wins: I practiced mindfulness today!
Takeaway: Check in with my body more often throughout the day. How often do you check in on the state of your body?
