#YearofMindfulness Day 44: One

Because I was running errands this afternoon, it never occurred to me to practice mindfulness; just before supper, I realized I had missed my afternoon practice. In the evening, I similarly lost track of time and didn't prioritize it, and when I realized this, it was so late, I went to bed instead . . . and then woke up just a few hours later. Even though I have not met my stretch goal of practicing mindfulness three (or even four!) times every day, I am encouraged that I have practiced mindfulness at least once every day.

Area for Growth: Practice mindfulness first . . . for real.

Wins: I practiced mindfulness today!

Takeaway: Mindfulness needs to come first, not just once per day. How do you prioritize what is important to you?
