#YearofMindfulness Day 46: Reminder
I carefully prioritized practicing mindfulness first thing this morning, and again in the evening . . . and was confused about where my afternoon practice went. Maybe it sounds like you hear the same excuses over and over, but I really am trying to prioritize formal mindfulness practice at least three times each day. Because it was the weekend, my normal anchor of childcare didn't happen, so it didn't occur to me to practice my afternoon mindfulness session.
Area for Growth: Set reminders on the weekend, and any time my schedule is different than usual.
Wins: I practiced mindfulness twice today!
Takeaway: If I want mindfulness practice to happen, I have to figure out how to remind myself when my routine is different. What's a foolproof way to remember in the midst of chaos?
