#YearofMindfulness Day 48: Expectant
I practiced three full (formal) mindfulness sessions today! One thing I'm learning is that, regardless of how my schedule fluctuates and my mindfulness practice varies, each day I need to show up expecting to engage in formal mindfulness practice. What happened yesterday is irrelevant; what happens today is what matters in strengthening this habit.
Area for Growth: Don't beat myself up over how I fell short of the mark yesterday; instead, focus on how I can take steps toward the mark today.
Wins: I practiced mindfulness three times today!
