#YearofMindfulness Day 63: Challenge

Today, it was a real challenge to practice mindfulness. I practice mindfulness during naptime, so when naptime is shaky, it's tricky to find time for mindfulness. It took a while for the morning nap to happen, then the afternoon nap didn't happen (and I had cancelled childcare because afternoon naps seemed consistent, making childcare unnecessary--ha!), then--inexplicably--bedtime happened over an hour later than usual, which meant that I was falling asleep while I was trying to practice my evening mindfulness.

Area for Growth: Keep childcare every day, even when I'm only paying the babysitter to sit there during my child's nap.

Wins: I practiced mindfulness three times today!

Takeaway: It can be challenging to fit a habit into the messiness of real life. How do you forge through the challenges?
