#YearofMindfulness Day 64: Work

Developing a habit requires a lot of work, sometimes day after day for a really long time before we begin to see results. In our instant-gratification society, we long to shuffle into the gym all saggy and worn out, and to bounce out a few minutes later with our supermodel beach body and boundless energy. Unfortunately, change usually occurs gradually, and it often requires more effort than we wish.

Area for Growth: Keep putting in the effort to practice mindfulness three times every day.

Wins: I practiced mindfulness three times today!

Takeaway: Habit change requires hard work. How hard are you willing to work to see change?
