#YearofMindfulness Day 65: Consistent
Research shows that missing a session here or there doesn't affect the development of a habit (see rebrand.ly/habit). If I miss a session, I need to examine what structures I need to put into place to make it more likely that I will be able to meet my goal the next day. Regardless of what happened yesterday, habit development requires the consistent effort of trying again today.
Area for Growth: Focus on consistency, instead of on negative self-talk.
Wins: I practiced mindfulness three times today!
