#YearofMindfulness Day 69: Appointment

I practiced mindfulness in the morning and in the evening, but I forgot to practice mindfulness in the afternoon, because I had a meeting that lasted during the entire time I had childcare. If mindfulness practice had been on my calendar, I could have fit it in, but honestly, it never occurred to me to schedule it. I need to treat mindfulness like an appointment on my calendar.

Area for Growth: Add calendar reminders to practice mindfulness prior to regularly-scheduled meetings.

Wins: I practiced mindfulness twice today!

Takeaway: If I want mindfulness practice to happen in the midst of a normal life, I have to schedule it in. How do you remember appointments with your habits?
