#YearofMindfulness Day 78: Still
Today, I discovered that when I deeply focus on mindfulness, I'm still: the busyness pauses, my hands are at rest, and my breathing is relaxed. All of myself (body, mind, and emotions) is focused on the moment. In contrast, when I'm fidgeting, my mind is also swirling.
Area for Growth: Practice being still while practicing mindfulness.
Wins: I practiced mindfulness twice today!
Takeaway: True mindfulness exhibits as that moment of laser-focused stillness that precedes action. What do you notice when you are still?
