#YearofMindfulness Day 8: Guide
Because thoughts swirl like a tornado in my mind, I have found it helpful to have a guide through my mindfulness journey. I have tried several apps, and liked different aspects of each. The one I'm currently using is Mindfulness Coach. I like that it offers short, informational lessons to explain what mindfulness is, and structures practice sessions that build on the lesson and on each other. As you complete each lesson and move up each level, your little sprout grows into a tree! Bonus: the app is free!
Area for growth: My first formal mindfulness practice session was the length I'm aiming for, but the second two were shorter than I had hoped.
Wins: I practiced mindfulness three times today!
